What each certification means, in plain words

These are fabricator credentials: they attach to the factory and its lines.

Guardian-certified fabricator

Guardian checks the factories that process its coated glass, and certifies the ones that process it to Guardian’s published guidelines.

SGCC-certified tempered glass

The Safety Glazing Certification Council certifies tempered safety glass on representative samples of production.

StandardsNorth American safety glazing, ANSI Z97.1 and CPSC 16 CFR 1201, with the Canadian CAN/CGSB 12.1
