Capabilities of the factory

The first question is usually the biggest panel. The honest answer is a machine envelope: the lines below are listed with their working sizes and, for the process lines, the quality checks that run on them. Every size is confirmed against your exact build-up when we quote.

Line · Envelope · Evidence

The lines, and what we measure on them

Four lines take a panel from cutting list to dispatch. For the three process lines, the QC evidence is listed with the machine. Cutting is listed for its dimensions.

CNC cutting 6,100 × 3,400 mm · Tempering 6,000 × 2,600 mm · Lamination 2,500 × 5,000 mm

A line dimension is a machine envelope, not a finished-panel guarantee. Glass type, thickness and build-up move the practical limit, so every size is confirmed against your build-up at quote.

Tempering line

The furnace bed takes glass up to 6,000 × 2,600 mm, in thicknesses from 4 to 19 mm, fully tempered to EN 12150 or heat-strengthened to EN 1863.

Flatness is gauged against the EN limits: roller wave to 0.3 mm, edge lift to a 0.3–0.5 mm maximum, overall bow to 3.0 mm/m. Surface stress is verified on a polarimeter, to our acceptance of at least 69 MPa for fully tempered glass and 24–52 MPa for heat-strengthened.

Every two hours we pull a tempered sample and shatter it. EN 12150 sets the minimum fragment count by thickness: 40 for glass to 12 mm, 30 above. The count is logged every cycle, and the glass we destroy is always the sample, never your order.

Lamination line

The lamination line takes panels up to 2,500 × 5,000 mm, with PVB and EVA interlayers. PDLC smart glass is laminated in-house on this same line.

Documented batch tests cover boil, humidity and bake.

Insulated-glass line

An automatic line assembles insulated glass units with argon fill.

Units are checked to EN 1279: laser checks on coating position and airgap, butyl weight, the butterfly test, desiccant and water checks.

CNC cutting

The CNC line cuts panels to 6,100 × 3,400 mm before they enter the process lines. The finished-panel size is confirmed at quote.

Every finished panel is visually inspected before dispatch; the instrument checks above run on samples, not on every panel. The certifications this production runs under, and what we put in writing behind it, each have their own page: Certifications → Warranty →
